| Abstract: | Animal welfare has become a hot topic and it is also an important factor affecting the quality and safety of standardized production and livestock products.Animal welfare mainly includes feeding,breeding environment,health,behavior and so on.As special herbivorous livestock in China,horses and donkeys have made great contributions in poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.The review summarizes the economic value of horse and donkey,discusses the current situation of horse and donkey breeding in China and the related factors of animal welfare in horse and donkey breeding,and provides some references for the propaganda and promotion of breeding welfare in horse and donkey. |
