Abstract:To study the effect of oleic acid and stearic acid on the expression of fatty acid binding protein 3 (FABP3) in dairy cow mammary epithelial cells, qRT-PCR was used to detect the expression of genes related with milk fat synthesis. The optimal concentrations and time of oleic acid and stearic acid were 75 μmol/L 12 h and 100 μmol/L 36 h, respectively. Western blotting and immunofluorescence were used to detect the expression of FABP3 and secretion of lipid droplets. These data provided further experimental evidence for studying the effect of FABP3 on the milk fat synthesis signal transduction pathway.
