摘    要:目的]为中国棉花种质资源工作者提供丰富的乌兹别克斯坦的棉花种质资源收集情况.方法]总结全球的棉花种质资源现状,详细说明乌兹别克斯坦种质资源收集历史、过程及当前面临的挑战.结果]全面收集分析全球主要种质资源中心的种质资源,特别是乌兹别克斯坦种质资源收集;从种质资源收集的历史、保存、交换、使用及当前种质资源收集所面临的问题等角度出发,探讨乌兹别克斯坦在种质资源研究方面的宝贵经验.结论]乌兹别克斯坦拥有大量的棉花种质资源和棉花育种家种质资源创新经验.

Abstract:Objective]The purpose of this paper aimed to provide the cotton Gossypium spp.germplasm collection and research experiences of Uzbekistan for the researchers in China.Method]This article reviewed and summarized Uzbekistan scientists'experience in the collection and studying of cotton gennplasm which were covered in six parts:content,storage,utilization,sharing and exchange,location,maintenance and funding,and their current efforts on characterization of the collection.Result]There are the main cotton germplasm collections preserved in America,France,China,India,Russia,Uzbekistan,Brazil,and Australia,which can represent the majority of worlds cotton gennplasm resources.Uzbekistan has one of the largest and richest cotton gennplasm collections in the world,covering most of the species for the Gossypium genus.Cotton accessions and species encompass wide geographic and ecological niches and represent large amplitude of morphobiological and genetic diversity.Basic infonnation of die eight largest gennplasm centers were showed in the attached table in this paper,such as the cultivated tetraploid species number,the wild primary,secondary and tertiary cotton species,and diversity on flower color and on leaf plate shape of G. hirsutum germplasm.Conclusion]There are many experienced staffs,much cotton germplasm,and much workout in this field in Uzbekistan.
