| Abstract: | Michelia guangdongensis is a striking tree of Magnoliaceae endemic to Guangdong Province of China.It has high ornamental value in leaves and flowers,which is a good indigenous plant for landscaping.Its morphological character,distribution,ecology,introduction,grafting propagation and cultivation were described.Its landscape application was also discussed.Breeding test showed that using continuous grafting for years was the effective way of introduction and acclimation for M.guangdongensis. |
