树立正确的科研观,提高高校科研整体水平

本文认为,欲提高学校科研整体水平,科研选题必须体现党和国家的需要,体现市场或社会的需要,体现学科自身发展的需要;切实加强院系对科研工作的组织领导,加强学科带头人的指导和引导作用,加强与校外的合作及校内学科间的合作;克服"小而全"、"大而散"的倾向,克服畏难情绪,克服为职称、惟科研而科研的倾向。

Building up Correct View of Scientific Research for Increasing the Universities General level on Scientific Research

In order to improve the general scientific research in institutions of higher learning, the selection of research projects has to meet the needs of the nation, the needs of socialist markets, and the needs of the discipline's self-development. The organization and direction of the scientific research activities should be reinforced under the leadership in each college or department. The guiding role of leader(s) in each scientific field has to be strengthened. The inter-institutional and intra-mural/inter-disciplinary collaboration of scientific research should be advocated. The scientific research should follow neither a pattern "small project but no emphases" nor a pattern of "big project but no systems". The fear of challenges, the motivation just for better titles, and the pursue of research just for the sake of research are not favorable factors in scientific pursuit and therefore should be avoided.
