| Abstract: | The main research progresses on the marker-assisted selection breeding and transgenic breeding of Capsicum annuum were reviewed.The developing trends of Capsicum annuum molecular breeding will be multi-informational and will integrate a genetic map,high efficiency of molecular breeding technique and systematics of molecular breeding theory. |
