摘    要:研究了灰木莲木材的密度、干缩性、弯曲强度、冲击韧性、硬度等主要物理力学性质。结果表明:基本密度、气干密度(含水率为12%)和全干密度分别为0.408、0.463和0.435 g/cm3,气干密度属于国产木材的轻等级水平。全干差异干缩和气干差异干缩分别为1.714和1.900,弦向和径向干缩湿胀差异较大。抗弯强度81.2 MPa,顺纹抗压强度43.7 MPa,冲击韧性17 kJ/m2,端面、弦面和径面硬度分别为4 200.1、2 984.8和2 589.7 N。灰木莲木材的综合强度为124.9 MPa,属低等材。

Study on the Physical and Mechanical Properties of Manglietia glauca Woods

Abstract:The main physical properties of M.glauca woods,including the density,dry-shrinkage,bending strength,imapct toughness,hardness,etc.,were studied.As indicated by the results,the basic density,air-dry density(moisture content of wood is 12%) and oven-dry density were respectively 0.408,0.463 and 0.435 g/cm3,the air-dry density belonged to the light grade level.The values of differential shrinkage of oven-dried and air-dried wood were 1.714 and 1.900 respectively,indicating that the difference of drying shrinkage and the wetting swelling in radial and tangential directions were significant.The values of bending strength and compressive strength parallel to grain of Manglietia glauca were 81.2 MPa and 43.7 MPa.The toughness was 17 kJ/m2,the values of hardness on cross,tangential and radial surfaces were respectively 4 200.1 N,2 984.8 N and 2 589.7 N.The general strength of Manglietia glauca was 124.9 MPa,thus illustrating that the wood was of low quality.
