Field experience on the introduction of flow measurement with flumes in Kosovo

The activities of the Care International Irrigation Rehabilitation Project in Kosovo which are related to the installation of flow measurement structures are described in short. The reason for installation of the structures, institutional framework, design criteria and the construction and costs of the devices are briefly touched. The paper concludes with a discussion on institutional aspects of physical rehabilitation and technical innovations in irrigation schemes.
