森林覆盖率计算方法对比

本文就国内外森林覆盖率的计算公式,森林的概念与定量标准,林地类别及其划分标准进行了阐述和对比,并对改进我国森林覆盖率的计算方法提出了几点建议。

The Comparative Calculation Method of Forest Coverage

At present time there is no unified calculation method of forest coverage in theworld.Basic regulation was laid down by the FAO and the 7th World Forestry Congress:aforest means that with a canopy closure above 0.2,yet up to now it is not accepted by allcountries in the world.Ideologically,no wide difference exists in the conception of a forest,but the quantitative criterion for a forest varies widely among nations.The current quantita-tive criteria for a forest used by FAO,Europe Economic Committee,USA,former USSR,Japan,former Federal Germany,France,Finland,Australia and China are listed by the author.The type of forest land and the standard for forest land classification also vary widely among all countries.A detailed classification of land associated with forestry is given in theevaluation system of world forest resources recommended in unison by FAO,UNEEC and Finland International Development Organization in 1987.But the criteria for forest land classificatin have been set by former USSR,former Germany,Japan and China accordingto their own particular conditions respectively.
