摘    要:前苏联西伯利亚森工科研所的重点研究领域是, 开发以TT-4M为通用底盘的各种集材拖拉机和装载机, 研究山地森林采伐工艺、汽车运输道路修筑新工艺, 开发小河水运机械系统, 完善采运机具维修保养系统, 研制新型制材机械以及采伐、造材、加工剩余物的综合利用等.我国森工科研主要借鉴之点是建立科研中试基地、选择适合林区经济发展条件的科研项目, 调整科研组织结构及人才结构, 开展一些林区急需的中、小型科研课题.

Abstract:This institute consists of 18 research divisions such as Forest Felling Division, Wood Processing Division and Forest Product Division. The priority researches ard: development and perfection of new machanic logging system, development of the machanic system for slash skidding and transporting, mechanic system of water transport in rivulets, and new mechanic system of wood conversion; development of the microcomputer control system in the log yard; perfection of the repair and maintenance system of logging machines, researches on the process of forest felling in mountains, road repair and construction technology for motor transport and integrated utilization of wood refuses. In view of the current status of forest industry research in China, the lessons worth of learning from the former Soviet institute are:(1) setting up a closely related research and production complex and the pilot workshop for allied research and production, thus acceleration the conversion of research re-suits into productive force;(2) developing proper research projects suitable to conditions for economic developemnt of the forest areas;(3) orienting the institute toward comprehensive researches, with timely restructuring of the scientific organization and personnel composition;(4) setting priority on the following researches: improvement of the structure and performance of J-50 type skidding tractor, development of me-dhnn mobile loading machines in the olgging area, of semi-trailor skidiing line device, and the abrasion resistant adhesives used in consolidating the skid road surface; enforcing the overall microcomputer control of the log yard; improving the processes of branchwood skidding, txansproting and conversion; extending the process of chip production by mobile chipper, and developing sawtimber and new products of the "three boards".
