| Abstract: | Based on careful investigation, this paper analyzes the decline in Chinese language teaching in Tarim University, from the aspects of the enrolled students' Chinese level, the teaching staff, the management of student's status and style of study in the university. Deepening reform of Chinese language teaching, this paper concludes, is an effective approach to improve the education of national minority students. |
