| Abstract: | The status of Jiangsu sericulture industry was mainly described, and current main problems of the industry were analyzed. Suggestions of industrial transformation and upgrading for the aim of sustainable development were given. Specifically, paying attention to the coordinated development of commerce, manufacture and agriculture, depending on the improvement of science an =d technology, promoting the production mode with controlled installation and mechanisation, specializing the mode of business operation, controlling an appropriate business scale, and building a diverse industry. |
