A simplified method to prevent contamination and drying of the medium plate

Contamination of undesired microbe and drying of medium were often encountered in routine culture of plant pathogen. A simplified and effective method was introduced to resolve the problem. The main point of the method was that the medium plate was placed in a sealed common plastic storage box, and was then cultured in an incubator. The method is suitable especially for the culture operation which will take a long time. Apart from the plate culture, the method might also be used for culture in other forms to prevent moisture loss and contamination.
