论成渝经济区发展战略

成渝经济区作为国家西部核心地区，长江上游经济中心，是西部大开发的重要区域，经济区拥有良好的区位优势。丰富的自然资源、人力资源和老工业基地的制造业基础，是西部12个省市区3个重点开发经济带（区）中，唯一具备突破行政区划、在更大范围内优化配置资源的区域。作为国家经济发展新的增长极和战略支撑，建设成渝经济区有利于建设长江上游经济中心、国家重要战略后方基地、中西部地区综合交通枢纽，有利于发挥区域辐射、带动作用，推动区域协作，提高区域竞争力，增强区域综合实力；有利于加强与周边大武汉经济区、长株潭经济区、西陇海兰新线经济区的联系，增强区域间要素流动，提高西部各区域问经济合作水平，发挥区域的协同效益。

A Talk about the Developmental Stratagem for the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone

As the core area of the western part of China and the economic center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is an important region in the western development drive of the country. It enjoys good location advantage, has rich natural and human resources and a solid foundation of manufacturing industry inherited from the old industrial base. Among the six provinces, one municipality, five autonomous regions and three key economical belts （areas） which are mainly developed in the western part of China, the Chengdu-Chongqin Economic Zone is the only area which can break through the administrative regionalization and optimize the resource disposition in a wider range. As it serves as a new growth pole and provides strategic support for the economic development of China, the construction of the Economic Zone will benefit building up the economic center of upper reaches of the Yangtze River, the important strategic rear base of the nation and the comprehensive transport hub in mid-west China. It will help to bring its leading and radiating role into full play, promote region cooperation, enhance the competitiveness of the region and strengthen its comprehensive strength. The development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone is also good for strengthening its cooperation with the peripheral economic zones and the circulation of productive elements, advancing the standard of regional economic cooperation, and realizing the benefits of inter-regional cooperation.
