Abstract:For the problem of leaking seed off caused by empty seed spoon in the work of chain spoon potato sower,it is necessary to design a monitoring and reseeding device worked with potato sower to solve this problem and improve the efficiency of planting.This device makes use of the laser beam sensor and the contact travel switch sensor,to explore the empty seed spoon and the exact reseeding location,it relays on the reseeding device of steeping motor to reseed exactly,also makes a monitoring and reseeding device including potato seeder and reseeding device.The results of experiment indicate when the working speed is about 2-5 km/h,and the reseeding device do not work in this time,the seeding rate of the chain spoon seed-metering device is 91.35%.When the reseeding device works,the average success reseeding rate reaches up to 82.17%,the leaking seed rate is less than 1.5%,the total seeding rate reaches at 98.5%.From the result of the experiment,it is easily to see that the advantages of the newly designed monitoring and reseeding device of the potato sower,it not only improves the disadvantages of leaking seed off of potato sower,and improve the efficiency of the potato sower as well.It is beneficial for potato planting.This research provides reference for the design of full automatic potato sower.
