Abstract:In view of the low utilization rate of the cotton stalks separated from the recycled mulch film,unreasonable treatment,and the problems of incomplete smashing and easy wear of the cutters in most of the existing crushing and returning machines,a mechanical cotton stalk cutting device was designed and the whole machine structure and working principle explored the influence of different cutting methods on the crushing effect of materials. In order to determine the influence of factors such as the number of moving knife handles,conveying roller linear speed,and moving knife spindle speed on the qualified rate of crushing length.With three factors as independent variables,the qualified rate of crushing length is the response index,a multiple mathematical regression model between the dependent variable and the response index is established,and the BBD test design and response surface method are used to explore the optimization parameters of the machine harvesting rod cutting device.The results show that the optimal parameter combination is 3 movable knife handles,the linear speed of the conveying roller is 0.96 m/s,and the spindle speed of the movable knife is 750 r/min,the qualified rate of cotton straw crushing length is 91.1%.The optimized parameters are tested and verified by the device,and the optimized prediction model is obtained. The obtained optimal parameter combination meets the operating requirements of the cutting device,which provides a reference for the design of cotton stalk crushing equipment.
