Discussion on Tactics of Urbanization Development of Rural Area in Metropolitan Port Cities

Based on the analysis of main characteristics and existing problems of urbanization development of rural areas (suburb) in Tianjin, a metropolitan port city, the principal tactics were put forward to promote the current urbanization development of rural area in Tianjin, involving scientific laying out systems of towns, implementing strategy of preferential development, improving the economy of towns, enhancing construction of infrastructures and services facilities, perfecting migration policies, as well as establishing multi-mechanism of investment.
