Abstract:To study the effects of adding different proportions of the black soldier fly powder to the diet on the intestinal health and local inflammation of animals,28 Kunming mice were randomly divided into 4 groups,the basic diet of each group was supplemented with 0%,5%,10%,and 20%of black soldier fly powder.Two weeks later,1×108CFU of Salmonella was administered orally to establish a diarrhea model,and the expression of inflammatory factors and antibacterial peptides in different parts of the mouse intestine were detected by qRT-PCR.The results showed that after gavage,the expressions of proinflammatory factors TNF-αand IL-6 in the jejunum,ileum and colon of mice fed with different proportions of black soldier fly powder were significantly lower than those in the control group,the expression of anti-inflammatory factors IL-4,IL-10,and IL-13 were significantly increased,and the expression of mouse-derived antibacterial peptides Ang-4,Cryptdin-1,Cryptdin-5,Lyz2,Crs1 c,and Reg3 r were significantly increased too.These results indicated that the black soldier fly powder as a feed additive can improve the immunity of mice,and increase the resistance of intestine to pathogens and inhibit the inflammatory response when Salmonella invades the intestine.
