早48种质在玉米育种及生产上的利用

摘    要:早48既是一个玉米自交系,又是一个优良的种质资源。该自交系株型紧凑,耐密植,矮秆,穗位低,茎秆坚韧,品质优良,配合力高,抗倒伏性强,遗传性稳定,抗逆性强,适应范围广。早48自育成以来,先后有多个育种单位直接利用其组配的玉米杂交组合通过国家和省级审定及认定推广的玉米品种有7个,利用早48作中间材料改良选育出稳定及配合力高的新自交系20余个;直接利用早48组配的玉米品种强盛31号为山西省第一个玉米国审品种,于2005年获山西省科学技术进步一等奖。早48的成功育成,拓宽了我国玉米种质基因库,推动了我国玉米育种和生产的发展。

Abstract:Early 48 is both a maize inbred lines and an excellent germplasm resources. The inbred lines has compact plant type,high planting density tolerance, short stalk, low ear position, tough stalks, good quality, high combining ability, strong lodging resistance,stable genetics and wide range adaptation. Since its successful breeding, 7 lines passed both national and provincial assessment has been bred and approval as promotion cultivars through directly utilization of the combination. Besides, 20 new inbred lines with high combining ability have been developed using Early 48 as middle material and Qiangsheng 31 bred directly use Early 48 combination win the first reward of Shanxi provincial Sci-Tech Progress in 2005. The breeding success of Early 48 has widen the maize germplasm gene bank and promoted the development of maize breeding and production in China.
