浅谈吉林省中部半湿润区现阶段玉米育种

增加种植密度是吉林省中部半湿润区玉米产量进一步提高的必由之路。与之相适应的玉米育种工作关键是提高品种的耐密性。针对生产上机械化程度低,管理较粗放,保苗不稳定的实际,现阶段品种耐密性的概念应该是适应的密度范围较宽,一般在公顷5万至6万株范围。提高品种的耐密性必须有以下几个性状做保证:1.较高的茎秆质量;2.叶片的保绿期较长;3.雌雄同步;4.抓苗能力强;5.适当紧凑的株型。

CORN BREEDING ABOUT THE MIDDLE SEMI-HUMID REGION OF JILIN PROVINCE AT THE PRESENT DAY

Increasing plant density is necessary to raise corn yield further in the middle semi-humid region of Jilin province. The key in corn breeding program is to improve the crop adaptibity to the increasing density. Due to the lowel machanizalion and the Poor management, it is not easy keeping all the seedlings. The concept of hybrids with the density telorence should have more extensive range, generally from50000-60 000 plants/ha. The hybrids must have the following characteristics: (1)a stronger stalk quality; (2)a longer stay green of leaf (3)shed and silk at the same time; (4) a stronger seedling vigor; (5)more convergent apperearance of plant.
