Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of New Wheat Cultivar Zhongguo 22

The wheat variety Zhongguo 22 was released by Tongfeng Seed limited Company, and bred by crossing between the female parent of Jimai 22 and the male parent of Xinong 979 using the pedigree method. This variety is a semi-winter variety with high yield, disease resistance and strong stress resistance, which is suitable for cultivating in Huaibei and Yanhuai areas of Anhui Province. This paper briefly introduced the breeding procedure, main characteristics and cultivation techniques of the variety.
