| Abstract: | Geoduck, Panopea abrupta, a kind of large marine mollusk introduced from America and Canada recent years has been recognized as a highly nutritious seafood and profitable species with great culture potential. The paper concisely summarized the current research in many aspects of geoduck clam Panopea abrupta from different authors at home and abroad, including ecological characters, reproduction and growth, artificial breeding and culture. At the same time, it put forward some current problems to be solved about this species and offered their corresponding analysis and solving methods for further development. |
