摘    要:目的]研究不同生长阶段"平凉红牛"的肉用指数,为"平凉红牛"新类群的选育提供一定的依据。方法]将19头"平凉红牛"公牛按同质原则分为试验组和对照组,分别为9头和10头,测定不同月龄的体重及体尺,计算其肉用指数。结果]18月龄~24月龄,随着年龄、体重、体高的增长,肉用指数也随之增大。24月龄试验组和对照组肉用指数...

Abstract:【Objective】The purpose was to study BPI(Beef Production Index) of pingliang red cattle in different developmental stags and to provide related proofs for breeding new strain of Pingliang red cattle.【Method】Nineteen Pingliang red bulls were divided into experiment group and control group according homogeneous principle,which was 9 and 10 in each group.Body weight and body size at different month age were measured,and their BPI was calculated.【Result】The results showed that the BPI increased gradually along with the rise of age,body weight and height between 18 and 24 months age.The BPI of experiment group and control group at 24 months old were the maximum,which was 3.93 kg/cm and 3.76kg/cm,respectively.【Conclusion】The BPI of Pingliang red cattle would be close to special beef standard,and the beef performance had been improved.The further improvement prospect was expansive.
