A Preliminary Report on the Breeding of Jiangxi White Swine--Gaoan Line |

| Abstract: | Two progressive crossings of primary crossbred Gaoan swine with large-sized Yorkshire boar produced progeny that was completely white in hair color, large in body size, and improved in reproductive and fattening performance as well as in lean yield, approching the breeding criteria of Gaoan Line. The trends in pig breeding were also discussed. |
