Abstract: | The study showed, the clony appearance of P. capsici mainly fulffy. Sporangia caudcous with a long pedicel, very variable in size and shape, length/breadth ratio: 1.4~1.7, conspicuously papillate. Antheridia amphigynous, being produced in the culture of various isolates. The isolates were able to grow in the temperature 12-35℃ and at 1/8×10 -6 of Malachite green. There was significant difference in starch utilization capability between isolates. The production of sporangia was influenced by temperature and relative humidity, and pH value influenced the germination pattern and germination ratio. The causal organizism was pathogenic to many crops. |
