Abstract:In order to objectively analyze the difference of the comprehensive fruit quality among five newly bred banana lines XF1,XF2,XF3,XF4 and XF5,and select banana lines with excellent comprehensive quality,the fruit quality analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation were carried out.The main indexes of sensory quality(including fruit color,flavor,taste,fruit damage and disease,and abscission) and internal quality(including soluble solids,vitamin C,total soluble sugar,total titratable acidity,tannin and solids/acid ratio) of the five banana strains were measured,scored and compared,and the correlation between indexes of sensory quality and internal quality was established.Combined with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the five strains were comprehensively ranked according to the numeric value obtained by using the value of comprehensive membership function.Higher ranking represented higher comprehensive quality and vice versa.Therefore,the strains with excellent comprehensive quality could be screened.The results showed that XF2 ranked the highest in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,which indicated it possessed the best fruit quality.The strain XF2 owned the particular characters such as high ratio of sugar and acid,low content of titratable acidity and tender flesh without sour taste.So,it could be used as the main line and also be popularized as a new variety with unique flavor.The strain XF1 ranked the second in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,which meant that the comprehensive quality of XF1 was relatively poor compared with that of XF2.However,the strain XF2 owned the best appearance quality(golden fruit peel with one evaluation grade difference from the others) among the five strains,and it could be popularized as a new variety with this unique character.The strains XF4 and XF5 ranked the third and the fourth respectively in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.There was no huge difference among all the indexes and the quality indexes(scores) were relatively stable.The strains XF4 and XF5 could be popularized as general varieties although they did not show satisfactory comprehensive quality.The strain XF3 ranked the fifth in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,which indicated that its comprehensive quality was very poor.However,the strain XF3 possessed high content of total titratable acidity and that also provided unique flavour for the fruit.
