甘南藏族自治州土地资源农牧业评价及合理利用

LAND RESOURCE EVALUATION AND RATIONAL UTILIZATION FOR AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY IN GANNAN AUTONOMOUS PREFECTURE

The Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is situated in the southwest of Gansu Province. It's eastern part, where the West Qinling Mts. stretches, was cut deeply by the Bailong River, the Tao River and the Daxia River sourced from the western part. Geo-morphically, therefore, the eastern part is characterized by high moutains and canyons and the wertesn part is basins. From east to west, land types are cinnamon soil valley and terrace, spruce forest brunisolic soil middle mountain, steppe chestnus soil and steppe chernozem middle mountain, alpine steppe and meadow alpine plateau basin, frigid meadow high mountain. Land use situation in the region is that cultivated lands only account for 3% of the total land area, grasslands over 70% and forestries about 23%. Based on the above mentioned analyses, this paper makes a comprehensive land resources evaluation for agriculture and animal husbandry utilizations, and gives out a scheme of control regionization and some measures to rational land use.
