| Abstract: | Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease caused by Brucella infections.Among all the pathogens causing brucellosis,B.melitensis is the most threatening to humans and livestock.In recent years,the National Brucellosis Prevention and Control Plan(2016-2020)and other relevant documents have been promulgated for the prevention and control of brucellosis in China,but the epidemic situation of brucellosis,especially brucellosis in goats and sheep,is still serious.Therefore,this review mainly introduced the control and eradiation strategies of brucellosis in goats ang sheep in China and foreign countries.We also analyzed and discussed the shortcomings and deficiencies of these strategies so as to provide references for the control and eradication of brucellosis in goats and sheep in China. |
