Earthquake Resistance Design of the Countryside Buildings with Raw-soil Structure |

| Abstract: | Raw-soil structure was a main structural style in Chinese countryside buildings.The raw-soil buildings had a lot of advantages such as built with local materials,easy to be constructed,warm in winter,cool in summer cost-effective and energy-saving.However,the earthquake resistance ability of such buildings with raw soil structure was usually weak,which limited the utilities and development of the raw-soil buildings.The design method of countryside buildings with raw-soil structure were preliminarily discussed. |
