野牛草耐寒性研究进展

随着我国城市草坪绿化事业的发展,对水资源的需求逐年加大,但我国的人均水资源占有量处于世界平均水平以下,开发节水耐旱型草坪对我国草坪发展来说是非常必要和可行的.野牛草Buchloe dactyloides是以耐旱著称的暖季型草坪草种,但由于其对冷胁迫较敏感而导致绿期缩短,同时也限制了其在我国北方地区的使用范围,所以耐寒育种已成为野牛草选种的首要目标.综述了国内外在野牛草耐寒性研究方面取得的研究进展,并总结了影响耐寒力的主要因素.

Research advances of cold-tolerance of buffalograss

With the progress of turf projects, demand of water resource increase yearly in China. However, water resource in China is under average level of the world, for this reason, it is feasible to empolder water-saving and drought-endurable turf. Buffalograss Buchloe dactyloides is a warm season turfgrass which is excellent of drought hardiness, but it's confined by cold-sensitivity and short green-period in northern China. So, it has became the first goal to heighten winter hardiness through breeding of buffalograss. The headway and main factors of winter hardiness study of buffalograss were summarized in this paper.
