我国外来鳄类养殖现状及发展对策

截至2002年底,我国共拥有外来鳄类养殖场57个,饲养有10种98416条外来鳄,其中亚成体和幼体占绝大多数,成规模养殖的尼罗鳄、湾鳄、暹逻鳄和中美短吻鼍在我国均成功繁殖。我国外来鳄类养殖存在多数养殖场规模较小,技术落后,盲目投资建场等问题,建议鳄类养殖由林业部门统一管理,加强基础研究,提高饲养管理水平,大力开发鳄类产品。

The Status and Developing Measures of Alien Crocodile Breeding in China

Up to the end of 2002, a total number of 98,416 crocodiles of 10 alien species are living in 57 crocodile farms in China, most of them are infants and sub-adults. Crocodylus niloticus, Crocodylus porosus, Crocodylus siamensis and Caiman crocodilus were reproduced successfully in China. However, there are some problems in crocodile breeding in China. For example, the number of crocodiles in most farms are small, breeding techniques are not so advanced and some farms are constructed not so scientifically. So it is suggested that breeding crocodiles be administrated in a unifying way by the forestry sector. Suggestions on how to strengthen the breeding study, enhance the breeding level and further develop crocodile products are also given in this article.
