Discovery and Application of Herbicide Resistant Gene in Foxtail Millet

Foxtail millet field weeding was one of the main factors interfering industrialization development of foxtail millet.The emergence of herbicide-resistant varieties of foxtail millet has solved the difficult weeding problem in foxtail millet field,which was conductive to large-scale cultivation of foxtail millet,making the foxtail millet industrial development possible.The paper focused on the discovery,type,mechanism of herbicide-resistant gene,and its application in production in foxtail millet.Then we discussed the application of herbicide-resistant foxtail millet impact on the environment and reviewed the problems in foxtail millet herbicide research and its prospects of application.
