Abstract:In wheat production, to fulfill high yield of wheat and to ensure the safety of seed and environment, it is necessary to take some technical measures to reduce the usage amount of chemical pesticides. In the safe production of wheat, the application of disease-resistant varieties, seed treatment with pesticides, exerting natural enemies to control wheat aphids, pesticide synergists and synergistic pesticide mixtures are the crucial measures for pesticide reduction and green prevention and control of pests. In this paper, these pesticide reduction measures and the synergistic effects on the prevention and control of wheat pests, were summarized. This is of great significance for further promotion and application the green techniques for pesticide reduction in the prevention and control of wheat pests, reducing pesticide pollution, protecting environment and ecological health, and achieving safe production and high yield of wheat.
