| Abstract: | Based on the exrerimental data taken from the grassland shelterbelt sy-stem at the eastern foot of the Helan Mountain, the paper expounds the dy-namic effect, the thermodynamic effect and the hydrologic effect of the sh-elterbelt system in the desert steppe zone, and estimates the economic ben-efits of the system. |
