| Abstract: | The origin and characteristics of a new species of Populus tomentasa namely Baishui Populus tomentasa was presented. The techniques for artificial forestation and its main measure in management of Baishui Populus tomentasa were discussed, and its significance for ecological engineering of forestry in the Loess Plateau region was also depicted. |
