Abstract:In order to determine the number of generations of Spodoptera frugiperda in different areas of Sichuan province, the law of effective accumulated temperature was used to predict the generations of S. frugiperda in Sichuan based on the insect pest situation in 2019 and 2020 and meteorological data from 2010 to 2019, and ArcGIS was used to perform Kriging interpolation to divide the generations of S. frugiperda. The results showed that the number of generations of S. frugiperda in Sichuan calculated based on the insect pest situation of S. frugiperda in 2019 and 2020 and meteorological data from 2010 to 2019 was 0-6.40 generations. On the whole, the number of generations of S. frugiperda increased from northwest to southeast and from northeast to southwest in Sichuan. The generations of S. frugiperda in Sichuan province can be divided into six regions, and less than one generation area in Western Sichuan Plateau, 2-4 generations area in the southwest and northwest of Sichuan Basin, 3-5 generations area in the middle and northeast of Sichuan Basin, 4-6 generations area in the southwest and south of Sichuan Basin, 5-7 generations area of year-round breeding in Panxi region, and 0-5 generations area in Panxi region. These results provided a reference for monitoring, early warning and effective prevention and control of S. frugiperda in Sichuan province.
