Simplized Design and Test of S195 Diesel Engine Muffler

The design and test of per forated pipe muffler for S195 diesel engine are presented. Based on repeated tests the influence of the secodary expansion chamber volume and the variation of first and secondary perforated pipe structure on muffling effect and power loss were studied as well as the muffling and low power loss can be achieved for the designed mufner,which can meet the ever strict noise emmission standards for internal combustion engines.
