Abstract: | It is recognized that ileal amino acid digestibility is a sensitive indicator of amino acid availability in dietary ingredient for poultry. It is important to be able to determine ileal amino acid digestibility in feedstuffs with both accuracy and precision. Ileal digestibility were affected by many factors, such as diet, animal, age, sex, and so on. Apparent ileal digestibility, true ileal digestibility, standardized ileal digestibility and their interrelation were discussed. Some important tips and affecting factors about ileal amino acid digestibility determination in broilers were reviewed in the article. |
