| Abstract: | The anatomical structure and the process of development of the vascular system ofwheat seedling was studied through the observation of serial cross sections. The results indi-cated that the vascular sustems played an important role in the growth of the seedling. Itcould also explain, to a certain extent, the synchronous development of the leaves and tillers. |
