Abstract: | The effects of strong acidic electrolyzed water sprays with different concentrations on tomato yields and fruit quality were studied. The results showed that electrolyzed water sprays could promote tomato growth effectively; all electrolyzed water treatments raised the fruit numbers and fruit weight, as the middle concentration treatment had the most remarkable effect; low and middle concentration electrolyzed water could raise the Vc content in fruit significantly as high concentration treatment reducible sugar, and electrolyzed water treatments could raise the soluble solid and organic acid content insignificantly. The optimum acidic electrolyzed water characteristics for tomato spraying should be about: pH 2.35,ORP 1160mv,concentration of available chlorine 30mg/L. |
