Naloxone antagonism of the thermoregulatory effects of phencyclidine |

| Abstract: | Phencyclidine elicits hyperthermia at low doses and hypothermia at high doses in rats. Naloxone antagonizes both effects. Phencyclidine's effects on thermo-regulation are probably mediated by an interaction with a mu opiate receptor. |
