播期效应对玉米产量性状配合力影响的研究

本究以不同玉米自交系组成的三套双列杂交组为材料,分别于三年内各自进行春播和夏播试验,考察了穗长、秃尖长、穗行数、行粒数、穗重,穗粒重和百粒重等七个性状。综合结果表明,各性状的表型值在播期间存在着明显的差异。绝大多数性状的配合力在播期间各自交系却表现出序列的相对一致性。因此,玉米育种工作中研究和测定配合力可以不考虑播期差异的影响。

EFFECT OF SOWING DATE ON THE COMBINING ABILITY OF YIELD TRAITS IN CORN

The experiments involving two sowing dates were carried out on three sets of maize diallel crosses in three years respectively, to explore the effect of sowing date on the phenotypic values and combining ability of seven yield components. The highly significant differences between two sowing dates were observed for phenotypic values of all characters. On the contrary, the array of combining ability for most traits showed no difference between two sowing dates. Therefore, it is not necessary for corn breeders to pay attention to effects of sowing date in determining the combining ability of yield traits.
