大麦籽粒,特别是产自高寒阴湿区的大麦品种籽粒发芽困难。这一问题主要中由大麦种子休眠期长引起。种子休眠期未被打破,在常规发芽条件下,成批的大麦品种发芽率"不合格"而被排斥在省种质库外得不到妥善保存。为了寻找能够快速扭破休眠期、真实反映种子活力的发芽方法,我们进行了反复试验,发现研究配制的"氧汤"催芽液对大麦种子具有显著的激活发芽功能,可使大麦种子的发芽势、发芽率大幅度提高,为及时检测大麦品种的发芽率提供了有效技术。对大麦工业制芽工艺改进亦有重要实用价值。
