Abstract:Selenium is an important trace element in eco-system, either excessive or deficient causing diseases to human being and animal. Studying on selenium has been a major subject in soil environmental chemistry. Based on the relative data, the author summarized the fractions of selenium presenting in the soil environment and it's bio-availability, and expounded the factors which affect on the fractions, bio-availability, transformation of selenium. The problem should be paid attention to in the field of selenium's soil environmental chemistry is also mentioned.
