| Abstract: | In June,1999,Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Ministry of Philippines signed an agreement that China would help the Philippines to develop hybrid rice. According to the agreement,Mr. Zhang Zhaodong and Bai Delang from China National Hybrid Rice Research and Development Center,went to Philippines at invitation to develop hybrid rice in the country. In the period from September,1999 to June,2000,they grew experimentally hybrid rice in two seasons (rainy season and dry season) and selected EPAP No8,EPAP No21 and EPAPNo31 adaptable to dry sea son from 44 combinations. |
