| Abstract: | By means of inoculating single floret on certain spikelets and with dripping the spore suspension,the results indicated that the degree of scab-resistant augmentability of varieties was directly related to the injured extent of spike stalks and the number of the spikelets injured,but it was little related to the height of spike,and the type and length of awn.The metabolite(toxin) of gramineous fusarium showed a strong toxicity to wheat,causing the host tissue brown and necrotic,thus the ear of the wheat flaccid. |
