| Abstract: | 1. The influence of three aspects of the rearing conditions of pullets on their performance as adults was investigated. 2. The rearing conditions investigated were early acquaintance between birds, group size and stocking density. 3. The production characteristics measured were laying performance, feathering and foot condition. 4. No significant effect of rearing condition on the characteristics measured was found. |
