Current Situation,Problems and Counter Measures of Wheat Supply in Henan

The changes and problems in the wheat supply in Henan during the past 10 years were analyzed.It was found that the wheat supply situation was influenced by the state policy,initial price,cost and natural conditions and many other factors.The initial price had especial effects on planting areas and production of wheat.Therefore,the wheat production in Henan province should take full advantage of the state policy supporting agricultural development based on the local resources,gradually increase the wheat planting areas,and promote the yield and quality,to ensure wheat supply and steadily promote the market competitiveness.
