Abstract:miRNAs play important roles in the growth of cassava.In this study,the expression of miR393 was identified in cassava by RT-PCR.The miR393 precursor was cloned and sequenced from cassava through comparative genomics approach.The secondary structure was predicted.The sequence homology was compared with that from other species.Results showed that pre-miR393 was not highly conserved among different species,but matured miR393 sequence was highly conserved among different species.
