Abstract:Based on the analysis of various cultivation methods of soil, an oblique rotary tillage theory has been put forward to lower energy consumption and enhance cultivation quality. The oblique rotary theory means that rotating plane of blades has an angle with rotary tiller moving direction and the blades cut soil in a definite penetration sequence. On the indoor oblique test device, an oblique rotary tillage experiment was conducted. The experimental device of oblique rotary tillage, which can be adjusted to seven oblique angles, was developed. A new type of blade was developed according to features of oblique tillage process. Through the whole factor experiments in which the basic requirements of oblique tillage were satisfied, the influence of three direction forces and specific power consumption to forward velocity, rotor velocity and oblique angle was investigated. The conclusion is that under the definite kinematic parameters the optimum oblique angle could be determined in terms of specific energy consumption. The results of oblique blade were compared with national standard blade and are better than the latter.
